After extensive research, TRITON has been developed as a chemical free, mercury-free, zero-by-product, rapid water treatment technology. TRITON can eliminate, degrade and reduce a variety of contaminants, optimizing the entire water treatment process. TRITON leverages the proprietary technology of Aruna Inovation to offer a highly scalable and energy-efficient water treatment process.

By using Pulsed UV technology in a secure form factor, TRITON treats rapidly flowing water, quickly and safely. This method produces clean water that can used across a wide range of applications or stored for later use.

Contaminated water is pumped through the pipe at up-to 60 gallons per minute.


The 30-micron filter removes sediment and any particles visible 

to human eye.


The 5-micron filter

removes particles such as lint, heavy dust, pollen, fertilizer, average dust, plant spores, mold, light dust, animal dander and similar contaminants.

Many industries require sterilized water in large quantities. Currently, these markets employ sterilization techniques like ultra-violet light, advanced filtration and peroxy-ozone to eliminate microbiological pollutants and other contaminants in water. 


TRITON is a less expensive, environmentally friendly, customizable alternative to current water sterilization practices.



The water treatment for this industry is currently at $305B, of which $81B is within the US. This industry utilizes water from various sources, such as groundwater, municipal water, etc. The water treatment process is multi-stage, requiring the elimination several contaminants, primarily bacteria, viruses and similar harmful microorganisms. Current treatment involves a multi-stage processes like membrane filtration, carbon filtration, sand filtration, Reverse osmosis, chlorine and UV light in-order to remove microbiological contaminants.

The global water purifier market was valued at $31B in 2018 and is expected to reach $58B by 2025. Even non-potable water must be treated before use irrigating golf courses, lawns and agricultural crops and before releasing storm water back into natural water sources. Reverse osmosis, UV light, Filtration and gravity-based solutions are used to decontaminate water from harmful substances, chemicals, pathogens, microorganisms and other dissolved solids, making it safe for use. 


With TRITON, purifying large quantities of water for these uses is a streamlined process and is easily integrated into existing water treatment methods, eliminating the use of current multi-step treatment process.

Mandated in 2017 by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), all existing and newly-built ships must install a water treatment system that complies with D3 regulation in order to eliminate specific organisms before waste-water is discharged back into the ocean. This signifies a retrofit market of approximately 15,000 existing ships and a new ship-build-market of approximately 3,000 per year.

The ballast water treatment market is mandated and time-sensitive. Existing solutions in this space are chemical based or Ultra-Violet. The total market size for ballast water treatment will be $101B by 2024.


TRITON technology is able to replace both options with a simpler, more compact and cost-effective ballast water treatment solution.



As of 2019, 800+ million people across the globe do not have access to clean water. Starting with India, we are currently in collaboration with the NGO's to deploy our pilot within a rural community in Gujarat, India. This pilot will eliminate the use of chlorine and other hazardous chemicals to treat water, with the potential of eradicating cholera, a life-threatening water-borne disease.


Our chemical-free alternative to water purification eliminates the need for chlorine, which is frequently used for potable water disinfection. In extreme cases, overuse of chlorine can lead to illness and even death. TRITON's method eliminates the need for chemical sanitation entirely.
