BEVERAGE & BOTTLED WATER MARKET
The water treatment for this industry is currently at $305B, of which $81B is within the US. This industry utilizes water from various sources, such as groundwater, municipal water, etc. The water treatment process is multi-stage, requiring the elimination several contaminants, primarily bacteria, viruses and similar harmful microorganisms. Current treatment involves a multi-stage processes like membrane filtration, carbon filtration, sand filtration, Reverse osmosis, chlorine and UV light in-order to remove microbiological contaminants.

WATER PURIFICATION MARKET
The global water purifier market was valued at $31B in 2018 and is expected to reach $58B by 2025. Even non-potable water must be treated before use irrigating golf courses, lawns and agricultural crops and before releasing storm water back into natural water sources. Reverse osmosis, UV light, Filtration and gravity-based solutions are used to decontaminate water from harmful substances, chemicals, pathogens, microorganisms and other dissolved solids, making it safe for use.

BALLAST WATER TREATMENT
Mandated in 2017 by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), all existing and newly-built ships must install a water treatment system that complies with D3 regulation in order to eliminate specific organisms before waste-water is discharged back into the ocean. This signifies a retrofit market of approximately 15,000 existing ships and a new ship-build-market of approximately 3,000 per year.
The ballast water treatment market is mandated and time-sensitive. Existing solutions in this space are chemical based or Ultra-Violet. The total market size for ballast water treatment will be $101B by 2024.
TRITON technology is able to replace both options with a simpler, more compact and cost-effective ballast water treatment solution.
HUMANITARIAN EFFORTS
As of 2019, 800+ million people across the globe do not have access to clean water. Starting with India, we are currently in collaboration with the NGO's to deploy our pilot within a rural community in Gujarat, India. This pilot will eliminate the use of chlorine and other hazardous chemicals to treat water, with the potential of eradicating cholera, a life-threatening water-borne disease.
Our chemical-free alternative to water purification eliminates the need for chlorine, which is frequently used for potable water disinfection. In extreme cases, overuse of chlorine can lead to illness and even death. TRITON's method eliminates the need for chemical sanitation entirely.
